Angelique Matz, LPN
Angelique Matz is a Licensed Practical Nurse who has been part of the Facial Plastic Surgery KC team for 11 years. With 33 years of experience in the medical field, Angelique’s practice philosophy is to tailor treatment to each individual’s needs. This personalized service allows her to provide the best possible care to patients and assist each person in achieving their goals. Angelique received her training in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where she lived previously. She is a former member of the Organization of Facial Plastic Surgery Assistants (OFPSA), a sister organization to the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and has attended AAFPRS meetings to stay up-to-date with evolving techniques.

Rachael Connell, RN, BSN
Rachael Connell is a Clinical Nurse Coordinator and Aesthetic Nurse at Facial Plastic Surgery KC. Rachael has been in the medical field for approximately 8 years and her educational background includes earning her Bachelor’s degree at The University of Kansas and completing her training at Baker Nursing School. As an aesthetic professional, Rachael is trained to perform a broad spectrum of skin rejuvenation treatments, including the Sciton® laser, SkinPen® microneedling, chemical peels, and medical-grade skin care products from lines like Obagi® and SkinCeuticals®. She is passionate about achieving the best outcomes by giving each patient the tools to feel confident in their treatment.

Kacey Blair, RN, BSN
Kacey Blair is a Registered Nurse who has been working in the medical field since high school. Kacey received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Missouri State University, and has been working closely with Dr. Flynn at Facial Plastic Surgery KC for two years. With a holistic-based practice philosophy, Kacey is passionate about honoring the emotional aspects of an individual’s care on top of their medical needs — a holistic standpoint that can separate a good healthcare experience from a great one. She takes this holistic approach whether patients are interested in non-surgical aesthetic treatments or complex procedures like skin cancer reconstruction, nasal surgery, and facial reanimation after paralysis.
